Street Savvy - IOS 4.2 AVAILABLE NOW FOR IPHONE, IPAD

It's finally here. IOS 4.2 for iPhone, and crucially, iPad is available now on iTunes. It will fix a number of bugs across the platforms, and iPad owners will at long last catch up with their iPhone cousins and get multitasking, and Folders. There's a list of over 100 improvements (say Apple) so head over to iTunes now, and download it. As long as you're on iTunes 10.1, that is. Otherwise, update first.
**Update - We've been hearing from a number of readers that the Apple website lists IOS 4.2 as available now, but iTunes won't download the update. We'll let you know when it's finally live!**

Street Savvy - Playstation Phone Coming Sooner Rather Than Later?

The Wall Street Journal is doing well on scoops these days. They've done it again in a recent interview with Sony CEO Bert Nordburg. Among other things, they discussed why a Playstation Phone hasn't already been released. "I haven't dug into that history, but the future might be brighter," said Nordburg, coyly, before adding "There's a lot of smoke, and I tell you there must be a fire somewhere."

Sony have already said there will be an announcment of some kind in December, and they have a trade event coming up early in the New Year. Could we see the PSP Phone then?
